My name is Erin Martin and I work with Blue Ridge Treks as a community and school-based outpatient therapist to provide therapeutic services to adolescents and their families. This school year, I am happy to report that I will be serving T.C. Roberson High School and Valley Springs Middle School as a school-based therapist for your teens in need!

School-based therapeutic services help break down the barriers many families face when it comes to being able to access and effectively engage in services outside of school. School-based therapeutic services also greatly benefit the schools due to the students in need having a consistent support system/a pin-point team member to collaborate with when issues arise in the school community. My school-based therapy services will include individual, family, and group therapy for a variety of issues, such as anxiety, depression, disruptive behavior, attention deficit/hyperactivity, trauma, and relationship challenges.

My therapeutic approach is relationship-based, systemic, collaborative, experiential, and holistic. I believe in integrating family supports, school-staff supports, and out-of-the-box therapeutic interventions, such as: utilizing nature, incorporating body-based/yoga techniques, utilizing the power of the breath to calm the nervous system, and being creative based on what each particular student needs. I am also happy to be a resource for the staff of this school regarding emotional and behavioral health concerns!

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of the community!
