My name is Erin Martin and I am an Outpatient Therapist/ Clinical Director of Blue Ridge Treks. I have been a therapist with Blue Ridge Treks since 2018 and started working as Clinical Director in January of 2025.

 

My therapeutic approach is relationship-based, systemic, collaborative, experiential, and holistic. I believe in integrating family supports and out-of-the-box therapeutic interventions, such as: utilizing nature, incorporating body-based/yoga techniques, utilizing the power of the breath to calm the nervous system, and being creative based on what each particular client needs. I utilize EMDR to process trauma with my clients. I am office-based with the occasional outdoor session or walk/talk style therapy session. I enjoy accompanying adolescents, young adults, and adults on the journey of exploring life. I believe in the power of holding space and the power of the therapeutic relationship in the healing process.
